The easiest ways to get there from the Central Railway Station is to walk along Baana (around 1.4 km) or to take a tram or a bus (journey planner).

How to get there

Airport Train & Bus
Easiest way to the city centre from the HEL Airport is the train. The trip takes about 30 minutes to/from the Central Railway Station. There are also slower bus connections (Bus 615 and Finnair Bus).

Ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn arrive in Helsinki city centre and the terminals have tram connections. The terminals are marked on the map with blue dots.

Trams are an easy way to move in the centre of Helsinki. Trams 2 and 9 are the best choices for moving between YIMBYcon venues. Their routes are marked in the map below.

City bikes
City bike stations are located in the center of the city. They are bright yellow and easy to spot. In some of the city bike stations it is possible to pay with credit card.

The centre of Helsinki is small and walkable. An 1.4 km walking route from Central Railway Station to Startup Maria (Venue A) is marked on the map.
